Beyond Gurez, along the Kishanganga
Tulail Valley extends past the better-known Gurez Valley toward the Line of Control, following the Kishanganga River (the Neelum, downstream) through meadow, forest, and a string of riverside villages. The route in is itself one of the more scenic drives in the region, crossing Razdan Pass before descending into Gurez and onward to Tulail.
The valley's border proximity means standard identification checks and current travel advisories apply before any group is routed here. Infrastructure is limited and seasonal, which should be factored into any itinerary built around this destination.

Operating window
Tulail is reachable from May to September, when Razdan Pass and the approach roads stay open. Snow closes high-altitude access outside this window and limits the valley to a short operating season each year.
